The City of Dixon is hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Dixon Downtown Plaza Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 6:30pm. Join us at the corner of 1st St. and A St. in downtown Dixon to celebrate. 

During the event, the Dixon High School Jazz Band will be preforming on the Downtown Plaza stage.   

The Downtown Plaza, also known as the Pardi Market Plaza, serves as a new community social hub and parking area at this key downtown core location. The Plaza is located at the site of the former Pardi Neighborhood Market. In March 2016 the Pardi Market Site Citizens Development Committee (PMSCDC) was formed to represent the general public and streamline the decision-making process around the use of the site. 

Construction of the Plaza occurred in two phases. The first phase including a parking lot opened on July 17, 2020.
